harvested from the wild

Yakula products are handcrafted with the greatest of care and without chemical additives. Created from fresh herbs, resins and essential oils, our products are formulated to give you the best of Australia’s native plants.

respecting cultural traditions
Many plants, oils and resins have some historical use by Indigenous people.
We acknowledge the cultural traditions of Aboriginal Australians and are inclusive and respectful in our work with custodians to harvest plants and resins where appropriate to do so.
As part of this commitment, a portion of proceeds from our sales are donated to support women and children in central Australia.
healing of the walya
Yakula artwork is produced by Ellen Nambinjinba Haywood. It is the artist’s interpretation of the medicine that comes from the Earth. Ellen is a Walpiri Kadish woman who lives with her children and grandchildren in the region of central Australia.
She is an artist, musician and poet and holds sacred songs and knowledge passed down by her mother and aunties.
